Quinceys Pumping Station
Houses two Ruston & Hornsby 9 x HRC twin cylinder horizontal diesel engines, each coupled directly to a Gwynnes centrifugal pump. These pumps can move around 100 tons of water a minute.
Opening Times : Sun 22 Apr, 16 Sep 1000-1600. Also Sun (Maintenance Days) 28 Jan, 25 Feb, 25 Mar, 20 May, 24 Jun, 28 Oct, 18 Nov, 9 Dec.
